Well since you’re here and apparently are still reading, I’ll assume you’d like to know something about me. Here it goes – more than you ever wanted to know about me...
I might as well start with the basics...My name is Dave, I live in Morris County, New Jersey, I’m 23, and I work as a professional photographer. I tend to describe myself as a ‘sarcastic smartass’ when I’m asked, and I’d say that it fits me well for the most part. Those of you who know me can vouch for that. I am a shy guy outwardly, but with the people closest to me I’m very comfortable and open. I’m very honest – sometimes to the point of being too honest. I also feel ethics and manners are important – and try to act accordingly. Due to being a quiet person, I’m more a loner and prefer to be around one or two friends over being around a large group. I’d prefer a few close friends over a mass of acquaintances anyway. I crack jokes a lot....sometimes to cover up being nervous. It’s difficult for me to change from being the shy person I’ve been all my life, so that’s going slowly. I am a night person – I have tried so many times to get into a schedule that gets me up all the time before 11AM...it just doesn’t work more than a week. I always end up back to my normal schedule, and I prefer it anyway.
My interests cover a wide range; like I said before, I’m a pro photographer, but I love it as a hobby as much as I love it as a job. It has quickly become my most expensive hobby, but I really love a lot about it and it is money well spent. I’m also way, way too into computers, as well as a lot of technical things. I’ve recently been getting more into cars, though I have a long ways to go before I can rebuild an engine...let alone simpler things. I’ve been getting more into audio stuff as well, which is great because I have a wonderful teacher. I love going for long, rambling drives with the music up, windows down if it’s warm, and feeling the supercharger help push me back in the seat. Music plays a huge part of my life – I nearly always have something on in the background – or if no one’s around – cranked up real loud. When possible, I enjoy cuddling up with someone I care about, being close to her, and doing anything and everything together. With my other friends, lounging around and watching a movie is always good, but to be honest – as long as the company is good, there are fun times to be had.
